I thought you guys might find this funny. I've been working on applications to colleges for about six months now. Today, I submitted one to Salisbury University. I've reviewed the application about twenty times, but I just realized (after sending it) that I messed up. Upon sending it, they show you a confirmation screen that shows all of your information...and I realized I accidently put United Kingdom instead of United States for my place of birth... hahaha. Wow, it was so embarassing calling the Admissions Office and telling them there was a discrepency in my application. I'm so blonde..

My friend screwed up too. Let's call him Fred Thomas. Under "Personal Info, Full Name", he wrote Fred Thomas. Under "Family Info, Father's Full Name" he wrote Fred Thomas.

what did the college do? i left the admissions officer a message on her voicemail but she never called me back. i'm kind of nervous. straight a students aren't supposed to make a stupid mistake like that, haha.

Heh, well maybe the admissions officer will remember you for the mistake and when your app comes up for review, it'll help out!
