On Fordham’s application, it says “would you accept admission to another one of Fordham University’s colleges, please select …”
I’m applying to Lincoln Center, lets say i put down Rose Hill for this section, would they take away my spot from Lincoln Center and put me in Rosehill, or would i be able to get into both and then decide?
I don’t know about Fordham specifically, but most colleges give one a choice if accepted to both.
It’s hard to say. It depends on how much Fordham wants you at Lincoln Center. I’m sure they’d like to accommodate your 1st choice – but if they can’t due to space limits or the fact they’d rather choose others over you, they’d consider offering you 2nd choice. But this would only be if you’re on the fence. Ultimately, it’s anybody’s guess. I suppose you can call them and see how they treat it. Listen for their tone and gauge accordingly
My S went to Fordham RH (loved it there) and that was not a question on the application when he applied. And when he applied you were accepted to one campus or the other. If you only want LC then maybe don’t check RH as an acceptable alternate. I guess I could see this happening if you are applying to a tiny program like Gabelli at LC maybe they would accept you for Gabelli at RH if the LC program runs out of space? I’m not really sure. .I woudl call Fordham LC admissions and get clarification.
