Application Hiccups/Concerns

Hello all, I just had a couple of questions about the admissions process and was not sure where to post them. I apologize if these are misplaced.

1) It says on the Tufts website that students should submit all SAT scores from all test dates. I made the mistake of sending scores to all the schools to which I am applying at once using score choice, meaning I only sent two scores because the first time I took the SATs I was sick/not performing at my best. I listed on my Common App though that I had taken the SAT three times. Should I send Tufts an updated score report including all three test dates? I know they say they'll disregard the weak one anyway, but I want to make sure the fact that I listed 3 dates on my common app but only sent them 2 test date results will not work against me.

2) Does Tufts accept arts supplements? I was looking on the website but having a hard time telling whether Tufts' stance on arts supplements because they neither mentioned neither accepting them nor asked students not to send them.

Thank you so much!

I would send in the first one if I were you. It won’t hurt your chances. If anything, they would recognize that something was up that day. Even if you don’t, however, I severely doubt it would be devastating. Yet I feel like if it would make you feel better, then do it (there is no harm…better err on safety, right?).

As for the art portfolio, I don’t think that works against you either. A lot of people send colleges extra recs, songs they have produced, videos they have made, and even art portfolios. Thus, I don’t think this would work against you.

The extra material won’t hurt you, but just make sure it won’t be taking away from the more important aspects of the application (essays etc.).
