<p>So recently, right before the Early Action deadline, the Common App for counselors and teachers to submit their part of the application has been not operating correctly according to my guidance counselor. She did not want to delay my application by waiting for Common App to start working again, so she decided to mail the materials she had to submit. She gathered my two letters of recommendations from my teachers and sent them with the transcript and school report and mailed them out</p>
<p>HOWEVER, Ohio State University’s Assign Recommenders page says only 1 letter of recommendation is allowed with my application. But my counselor mailed in both. I currently don’t know what to do and am worried this will influence my acceptance because I did not follow the rules even though this was my counselor’s doing. </p>
<p>What do I do?
Will I be penalized for this mishap</p>
