<p>So I finished my application a while ago but my 2nd teacher hasn't started my recommendation yet. I reminded him a Friday. And I just reminded him again today. Now it says it is due by Sept 30th 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Like in 4 hours. I need to see if he finished it yet so I can submit my application but I can't load the app page.</p>

<p>I am panicking! I have been trying to access my application for an hour and a half and it isn’t working! I still need to copy and paste my essays into the application and type in the exact amounts for my family income, which I wasn’t sure of before.</p>
<p>What can I do? Are a lot of people also having this problem? How do I calm down a little? Does QuestBridge normally grant an application extension for these kind of technical problems, or is that only for really emergency situations?</p>
<p>I’m freaking out too. All I have left is to copy and paste the last essay and submit. But no. Like five million people are logged on at the same time. If it doesn’t work soon, I’m going to cry.</p>
<p>Is there anyway to figure out your QB ID without having to get to the My Locker page?</p>

<p>You can still submit a request without your QB #. that’s what I did. I explained in my request that I couldn’t even go to my locker page to retrieve my # in the first place…</p>

<p>Yeah I’m thinkin about asking for an extension. I’m just wondering if I should wait closer til 2:59 (I’m on eastern time)? or if I asked for it now and went to bed if that would look bad cuz I didn’t wait? cuz I got school tomorrow, like I’m sure everyone else here does, and I want to go to bed soon.</p>
<p>A pessimist would worry that the extension form might get overloaded just before the deadline and crash, too. Feeling optimistic?</p>
<p>If you happen to have a hard copy of the fax cover sheets, you should be able to find your QB ID number there. My son had saved his ID from the College Prep program in his email and noticed that the same numbers appeared on the fax cover sheets. </p>
<p>On his “Transcript and Test Scores” cover sheet the following appear: 1AxxxxxxAxxxxxx
The x’s are his ID number. The same number is listed twice on that sheet.</p>

<p>like every college deadline, things just get slow. I’m sure the Common App site is the same at the end of december and in january. Be patient, and when all else fails, put in that extension request.</p>

Maybe they’re trying to reduce the lag by closing the application. They might just extend the deadline and reopen it later, I wouldn’t panic too much.</p>
