just wondering if they require a teacher recommendation...

on the common app website, its kind of ambiguous, so......

please respond soon since i already gave my teachers the rec form! (need to withdraw)

thanks!

come on, 50 views and not one response?!?!!

I sent Emory two teacher recs... so yes, Emory does require teacher recs.

well i just email them, and uh, i guess we DONT need teacher recs so what is going on?

are you absolutely certain its a REQUIREMENT? or just beneficial?

Don't ask anonymous strangers such an important question. E-mail or call Emory's adcoms.

i have, and they said they dont

but some people ARE sending in recs, so i dont get it

The question that you need to ask Emory adcoms is whether they read teacher reccs. If they do, it's to your advantage to send them. If not, the people who send them are wasting their time and their teachers' time.

it's never at your disadvantage to send them. i've always sent as many as possible, unless noted of a specific limit.

if you believe that they will help your app, I'd send 'em along regardless. With the commonapp teacher rec form, it's only an extra photocopy and stamp, so not much extra work for your teacher.

they're not mandatory at all, though I submitted one teacher rec and two other recs
