So I'm submitting the personalized Emory application and it says they require a counselor recommendation for which I'm using their paper form. but they also state that "All students are welcome to submit up to two additional letters of recommendation". How? there are no Emory forms for TEACHER recs, only the counselor/school report forms. how do I send my additional recs? wouldn't it be sloppy to have my recommenders send a common app form when I'm using the personalised app? maybe I should ask my teachers to send recs to emory without a form, just as a letter?
pls help, I'm desperate when it comes to paperwork :(

Call the admissions office to make sure, but my guess would be that the common app teacher form would work fine.

My son had teachers send letters; the teachers signed on the flap of the envelope (to indicate that it was confidential), and either my son sent the recs with his other materials, or the counselors included them with the materials from the counselor's office (most typical). He applied to Emory with the Emory personal application, but he applied for Emory Scholars, and his counselor sent everything in in one envelope.

I think several of his applications did not have a form for teacher recs; just send a letter.

He always gave the teacher a resume to help them with the letter.

10x for the suggestions;)
I'll probably have the teacher recs sent as bare letters without the stupid forms.
