Hi, I'm really sorry if this is a painfully obvious question, but I e-mailed my pre-law advisor about it a while ago and he has yet to respond.

I haven't taken the LSAT yet and the LSAC hasn't received my transcript, so there's nothing in my Academic Summary Report. I've completed all my applications, though, and when I attempted to send them, they automatically add the reports. Since there's nothing in the reports yet, will they automatically update with info as it's received, or should I just wait until I take the LSAT and the transcript is received before sending my applications?

Thanks a lot in advance.

You should contact LSAC with this question.

Why would you send out your applications when you have not yet submitted your transcripts to LSAC and haven't yet taken the LSAT? It sounds like you are jumping the gun a bit.

Thanks for the response.

I just wanted to send them early because I wanted one less thing to keep up with.

From what I've seen, a number of schools aren't even accepting applications until October.

I wouldn't advise sending your stuff in unless you're entirely confident that your LSAT scores will make it reasonable to apply to the places you're looking at. I know I'm interested in a few big reaches and I'd stand a fair chance of wasting my time and money if I jumpstarted the process too early (but with other schools, this may not be any concern...just a thought).

Since you already have everything completed, it really won't take too much out of your time to send stuff later down the road. I've also heard that you should send as much of your info as close to at once as possible, simply for ease of processing.

Good luck...sorry I can't answer your actual question!
