<p>So I just submitted my application, and I'm looking at the page that's supposed to tell me what the schools has received so far (you know, transcripts and test scores and stuff), but all it shows is my name, address, phone number and then basic things like admission term and application type... Forgive my impatience and ignorance, but should I be able to see a "Requirements" section on this page already? Maybe I'm on the wrong page altogether...? </p>
<p>Also, I might as well ask - what are my chances like?
I applied to DGS because I have no idea what I want to go into...

GPA: 3.8 unweighted, 4.4 weighted
A decent amount of extracurriculars but nothing really competitive.. (Interact Club, Art Club, Marching Band, Science Club, Literary Magazine)
And I forgot to put NHS on my app because I'm an idiot. Is it worth contacting the school over? </p>
<p>You have just submitted an application at a crunch time when thousands are doing so. I assume you have already sent transcript and test scores. It will take up to 10 days for your on-line file to show all things have been received. As far as admission to DGS, based on info you provide, you have a very high risk of being admitted and NHS point means very little.</p>
<p>D submitted her app online on 10/30. By 10/31, application status was updated to show receipt of app & receipt of scores. The only thing not marked as received was the HS transcript (snail-mailed by her school), which admissions told me would be connected to her app as they go through the transcripts.</p>
<p>Oh, and BTW, D had ordered her test scores sent to UIUC on 10/1 and they were received on 10/6.</p>
<p>Is there anyone who also has their application shown under “Submitted Applications” section and not under “Processed Applications” section after submitting your app? It seems like all of my friends who have submitted their applications have theirs under the “Processed Applications” section, but not me. It doesn’t seem like it’s supposed to take much time to get updated, since one of my friends submitted his app last night and got his under the processed application section right away. (I paid right after the submission also)</p>
<p>Invincible, I’m not sure. Maybe wait another day, if it doesn’t change, might as well call them. I submitted mine and it was under processed within a day.</p>
<p>I was getting so concerned about this as it looks like I am the only one not having it under the processed applications section. I submitted mine last Friday.
Hope there is nothing wrong and will get updated as soon as possible.</p>
<p>I’m gonna piggyback on this post but…I applied there too and on my online application it says they are missing my HS transcript. However, my high school sent my transcript on October 4th…Did the transcript get lost or something?</p>
<p>You need to call U of I Admissions to check on whether it has been received, and let them know that your high school says they sent it on 10/4. Ask them what to do, don’t wait for opinions from CC.</p>
<p>@speedyturtle: When I called U of I admissions, they said they have to match mailed in HS transcripts up w/ applications - and they don’t even start to do that until the application is submitted. It takes some time for them to do it and application status will be updated when they find & match transcript to app. Feel free to call U of I admissions to verify this information</p>
<p>I sent in my application about a week ago. My transcript hasn’t been updated to be received either, and I sent it 3 weeks ago. Must just take a while.</p>
<p>If you are considered not for Priority Filing but rather Regular Decision, you are still a lock for DGS, so don’t worry about it too much. If you are RD instead, it will just have to wait a little bit longer for official acceptance but from what I can tell, you look to be fine.</p>

but one of my friends who also applied said she could not check the status…does that mean hers is under review now?</p>
