Did you call them? If so, what did they say?
I just called them. Waitlisted decisions do not come out until the first week of June. Also I couldn’t get an admissions counselor and the people manning the phones have no access to your records so you cannot have anything reviewed. I asked why I’m waitlisted when I applied to a program that is not impacted and she couldn’t answer that either.
@wneise First week of June!?! That is insane. They find out May 1 how many students are coming. Their admission department sucks. There is no chance of hearing before June?
I would commit to other schools if I were you.

When I called a few days ago they told me that they will begin notifying people throughout the month of May.
Do wait listed people have to pay for deposit fee?
@HiHello7: You do not pay any deposit until you are accepted from the waitlist. In the meantime, you need to SIR to another campus by May 1 and pay that school’s deposit.
They updated quite a few statuses today, I got denied but good luck to everyone else!
denied me too, i have GPA 3.64 but SAT is low! major in computer science, how about you?
Denied today for Computer Science at Cal Poly. “Based on information you supplied on your application, you have met the eligibility requirements for admission to the California State University. However, because our campus is impacted for first-time freshmen and upper division transfer students for certain majors, we are unable to accommodate your application.” Cal State Fullerton accepted me back in January so I’m going there. Go Titans!

I just got rejected for Computer Science. GPA 2.56, SAT 600/680/690, ACT 34 Composite, 33 w/ Essay.
Got accepted to CSULB though, so I got that going for me
Ouch, looks like Computer Science majors got screwed. I also applied to a impacted major (Business Accounting) so my hopes in getting in is probably just as low. Thank goodness you all had back ups.
