I am a little confused about my status. It says: "We have reviewed your application. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made. "

My status changed on January 13th, but I have not received a letter yet. My unofficial transcript does not load. Does that mean I am rejected?

Background info: I am a non-resident (I was told chances to be accepted are slimmer for non-residents). I am transferring from a local community college with a GPA of 4.0. However, I do not have an AA-Degree (but I do have 90 transferable credits). I went to college in Germany as well and am transferring credits from there.

I had applied before and my application was not considered because there were missing materials. But I was told that this time they have everything they need.

I haven't heard of anyone having this problem and being accepted. I would do a search from previous years to see if anyone else has run into this and if not accepted, when they received their letters. Also, I think I read that there is an explanation in the deny letter. My school sends a lot of kids to UW and we were told this year that there were no guarantees for anyone. Hope it works out for you. Good luck!

I am in the same exact boat as you Bsun. Transfer wise and GPA but I'm from in-state. My unofficial transcript page won't load as of 9pm 1/16/09. the status of my app changed to "reviewed, wait for postal mail decision" on 1/16/09
