<p>So I sent off my online app (part 5) on like December 29th or something. And today when i checked my app status on admissions.duke.edu, "Incomplete Data" appeared next to my personal statement and essays...(all my other stuff already arrived, with a date next to each)</p>

<p>Hmmmm, I'm not sure, but maybe it means you forgot to fill in a certain section of the form. If that status doesn't change within the next week or so, I suggest you call the office. I hope that helps.</p>
<p>I wouldn't really worry just yet. </p>
<p>The office has been closed for awhile, I would imagine, and there are thousands of applications pouring in these last couple of days (with not enough people to sort through them and add them to files immediately). </p>
<p>Check back in a few days, if it's not updated in a week (or you can set an arbitrary deadline of say... the 10th, or the 12th, which is when classes begin and student interns will definitely be there) definitely call the office.</p>
<p>I sent mine on online 12/31 and my essays and personal stmt also say "incomplete data". I'm fairly certain everything was uploaded so maybe they're still updating the files.</p>
<p>give them few days. they started working only yesterday.</p>
<p>yeah, i just called them, and they said not to worry about it. it's just to indicate that your application just hasn't been processed/filed yet. they'll contact you if anything's missing.</p>

<p>go to admissions and then login and top right with the red buttons it says check my status</p>
