Application Status

Has anyone be able to see the status of their application on the UChicago website? It says that you can check if they have everything starting November 15th (today) and when I logged in today, it didn't say anything about the status. What has your experience been? When can we see if they're received and processed all the parts of our applications? Thanks

Not up for me either. I guess I’ll check again around midnight.

The status of my application has been posted already.

They also posted this:

"The current Application Status Checklist is for Early Notification Applicants only. For students applying for Regular Notification, your applications may not be shown as complete until January 3rd, 2011. We currently have many Regular Notification Application documents on file that have not yet been recorded in the system, so please do not contact us about your Regular Notification Application before January 3rd, 2011.

We are still working to record the documents received within the past few weeks. This process may take a few days to complete, so please check back periodically throughout the week for updates on the status of your application. If your application remains incomplete as of Friday, November 19th we will give you further instructions on how to complete your file in a timely manner. Thank you for your patience as we continue working to complete your application."

Hmm I just checked and there’s a list of all my materials and the date they were submitted

Just checked again. I also have a list of all of my materials. However, 4/8 of them are “Awaiting” instead of “Submitted,” even though they were sent in. I’ll wait until Friday to see if they update.

Do you think they’ll also note on the application status page whether they receive a supplement?

The status says that they have not received my application fee but I used a fee waiver. Should I fax the waiver again?

You should probably call them up and remind them about fee waiver.
