<p>brown requested that I resend a teacher recommendation (even though I had delivery confirmation the first time and it DID arrive there in October), so I resent it via priority mail last week and according to the postal service’s online tracker, it arrived Tuesday evening. I clearly marked the outside of the package ED with red sharpie.
This afternoon, I called the admissions office because my application still showed up as “incomplete” online. (I also recieved delivery confirmation on this second mailing). The office was unable to tell me when my application would be properly filed.
I don’t think Brown will evaluate an applicant until his or her entirely application is complete. Decisions are supposed to be released two weeks from tomorrow! I’m a bit concerned that they’re never going to evaluate me for ED and just defer me…any suggestions of what I should be doing to make sure they DO evaluate me before they mail decisions? I don’t want to seem like a nusiance to them, but this is urgent.</p>
<p>The same thing happened to me. I sent it the second time overnight and they still say they haven't received it. They told me to check online again in a few days but it's still incomplete. </p>

<p>this happened to me, but instead of sending it, my school faxed it and by the time I got home my application was marked complete.</p>
<p>the same thing happened to me. my teacher had to send in her recommendation 3 times and it never reached. she faxed it in on dec 10, and it was only then did they receive it, and because they had made the decision by then, i was deferred. i was accepted in RD though and im in brown's class of 2010. except that it was highly annoying i had to waste 500 dollars and so much of my time on a bunch of other RD applications.</p>
