<p>Strange that it is nearly mid-February and yet I didn't receive anything, whether email or mail, from UCI/UCLA. For UCI I can't access the admission status page if I don't have the Student ID no. Four other UCs I have applied had sent me mails/emails already</p>

<p>There's nothing wrong with your application. UCLA doesn't bother sending out notifications to its applicants anymore because there's just too many (47,000+ this year)... :rolleyes:</p>
<p>flopsy, why did UCLA ask me to give them the name of the community college in which I took courses? Why did they have to verify it? I thought they'd only do that AFTER you're admitted?</p>

<p>i think you're supposed to have put down the name of the community college on your app anyway.. so maybe they're now asking for it. just to make sure it's for real. </p>
<p>and don't worry if you didn't receive any notifications from the UC's. it's typical for most campuses not to send one.</p>
