many people talk about how a job helps along with community service and other activities outside of school, however, on the printable application available on pitt's website there is absolutely no area where this information could be provided? where do i put the info

you can send supplemental information by email, such as a resume of your activities, work experience and community service; [University of Pittsburgh: Undergraduate Admissions & Financial Aid](http://www.oafa.pitt.edu/freshadm.aspx)

How to show Pitt my ECs online? whick e-mail address should I send to?

I would just call and ask: 412-624-7488 is the number for the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid

I believe the email is oafa@pitt.edu but I could be wrong…

if youre applying with the on-line application, id call the FA office and tell them youre going to fax over the supplemental information and if it would be okay. then id have your guidance counselor fax them over with the number they give you. otherwise if it’s the paper app then mail the supp. in with the rest fot he application/transcripts/essays etc.

last year we emailed the supplemental material to oafa@pitt.edu. We were advised to “cut and paste” the information into an email rather than sending an attachment, because they won’t open email attachments.

You can always call OAFA to make sure the same procedures apply this year.

Good luck on your application.

thanks but im applying there, so should i just bring all of the supplemental information, such as the essy, recs, resume. with me and turn it alll in with my application. and form y transcript my counselor put it in a sealed envelope stamped over it so you can tell if it was opened and said it would count as official.

That should work, xkmh427x. Remember though, letters of acceptance don’t get sent out until the end of September, beginning of October.

xkmh- when I went to Ready Set Pitt last year it was kind of a zoo and I think you would risk getting those extra materials lost if you bring them in person. However, all in all, it would be best for you to ask this question to the OAFA by calling them on the telephone.

You’ll want to do the same with any rec letters you bring. Have the letter writer seal the envelope and then sign and date over the seal to show that it hasn’t been broken or tampered with.
