<p>We're all familiar with stories about student applications that were dishonest, beefed up credentials or degree/attendance falsifications as well.</p>
<p>Does anyone know if the universities are catching dishonest students who are not revealing their complete academic history? For example, a student who went to a college and bombed out, but applies two years later at a different university under "new student" (not transfer).</p>
<p>I ask because I know someone who is about to, and I'm telling him that for sure he will be caught out one way or another. Does anyone out there know how the universities background check on these people?</p>
