I applied early action online to a school and got in my transcript, letters of rec, etc. in before the November deadline. I was supposed to get an admissions desicion in one week, then it was pushed back to the end of December. I contacted the admissions office a week ago and they said that my application was just reviewed a few days before. They said that I would recieve my desicion in the mail this week but I still haven't received it. I know other people who were notified by this same school weeks ago. Can colleges really just ignore their own notification deadlines when applicants have to get everything in on time with no exceptions?

I have never heard of early action being notified in one week. Of course a school can do what they want to..........it is their program and you are wanting to play their game.

same exact thing with me & SUNY stony brook
