Applied in October, still no call for interview

I am concerned I may have missed the call (my cell phone is good at everything except being a phone). I live in NYC area, so there is no shortage of Alumni. Should I take any action?

There may be a shortage of Alumni willing to take on the responsibility of handling interviews, and then writing up the reports on them. Especially when it gets depressing after a while, as relatively so few applicants get accepted.

I have been told that if you are matched with someone for an interview, and they cannot get in touch with you by phone, they may try to follow up via email or even txt message.

Don’t sweat it.

Thank you for your response - I feel better.

perhaps, call the admission office and they will provide you further information.

@kitty1 Columbia admissions does not assign/coordinate interviews. Local alum groups do it – and assign applicants to the # of available volunteers. Calling admissions won’t help.

If this helps, I can tell you my D was admitted with a likely letter even, lives in NYC and never received a call or note about an interview. So I do not think having not been invited to interview affects your chances of admission.

Thank you all for taking the time to respond. It is hard to sit back and let the process happen, but I am going to be patient.
