Can anyone describe their experiences with the McCormick Applied Math and Engineering Sciences major. Also, is it feasible to complete premed requirements with the Applied Math major?

Don’t let the small number discourage you. NU is top-5 in the world for material science but the undergrad program doesn’t have that many people in it. The applied math was highly ranked by NRC.

Yes and I am deciding between northwestern and duke for ED
There are also other related majors at NU. That’s another reason why less people major in it. Check out MMSS and statistics. Among the three, MMSS is by far the most popular. IEMS is another major that’s also kinda related.
