Applied Math with CS track

I'm currently an EE major and have taken a huge interest in programming. EE doesn't really appeal to me anymore. The CS major starts from year 1 with CS classes, so I would be behind about 3 semesters if I changed to CS which I don't want to do. Applied math, on the other hand, would keep me on pace to graduate in 4 years. I looked into the curriculum and they have many options with CS classes. I'm planning on doing internships and Co-ops asap if given the chance. I want a job doing some type of software engineering, either scientific or numerical would be ideal but I'm willing to do financial also.

Question:

-What CS and Applied math classes would increase my chances for employment?

CS: algorithms and complexity, operating systems, networks, software engineering, databases, security.

Math: abstract algebra and number theory if you are interested in cryptography; numerical analysis for numerical and scientific computing; real analysis and statistics for economics and finance; other math courses depending on what you are interested in.
