Applied To Northeastern Early Action: A few questions!

I’m a current HS senior who applied to NU Early Action in November. I’m wondering, when and how do admissions decisions go out? The admissions check says decisions will go out “by December 31st”, but I’m wondering what that means- is that a date that admissions decisions will go out? Or does that mean that decisions will be sent out at some point prior to that?

If it’s a date that decisions go out before, does anyone know what dates decisions have been sent in prior years?

Also, how do decisions go out? Is it by email or by mail?

Also, are they rolling? Or are all EA decisions sent out at once?

The past few years, admissions decisions have been released in mid-December. For this year, people are speculating that EA decisions will be released on the 15th, but there are no guarantees. Best of luck!

Great, thanks! Are they sent out by email, all at once?

@IJustNeedToKnow I think they send you an email that “something on your application has changed”, and then when you log into your online Application Status Checker the decision is there. Scary, but efficient! Good luck to you!
