Applied to UC Berkeley... No e-mail confimration?

I applied over a month ago to both UC LA and to UC Berkeley and got an e-mail from UC LA saying that they'd gotten my application. However, Berkeley hasn't said anything. I sent them an e-mail and am still waiting for a reply... meanwhile, I wanted to ask if anyone knows whether or not I should have gotten some kind of confirmation e-mail/letter.

I haven’t… and according to a thread posted a few days ago most other people haven’t. I believe Berkeley just sends them out later than most other UCs.

From Berkeley’s website: “All applicants will receive an email in early January with instructions on how to log in to myBerkeleyApplication and create a password.”

I think they’re just slow, that’s all. I applied to Berkeley and UCLA, and I still haven’t even gotten one from UCLA.

I haven’t either. Thankfully, early January doesn’t mean the 1st. If I don’t receive one by the 10th, then I’ll be getting worried.

I got one from UCLA but not one from Berk.

Thanks for the posts… I was kind of starting to freak because I couldn’t find the info on their website (thanks iceui2). I guess there’s nothing to do but wait then!

Yeah, there’s nothing to worry about. When I applied 2 years ago (wow, that sounds so long ago), I was freaking out cause I didn’t get an e-mail confirmation from Berkeley either. Berkeley just likes to play mind games with you. If memory serves me right, I got an e-mail in January and everything worked out well.

The emails will come when they come.

Also, FYI, it is not proper practice to put a space in “UC LA”; it is just UCLA

Argh, I’m OOS and I still haven’t gotten one from UCLA! I have a few other OOS friends who have gotten theirs, but not me. Anyone else not get their UCLA yet?

I’m OOS and I recently got my UCLA confirmation. I’d call them if you don’t get it soon.

I just got my emails from UC Berkeley! They have received my application.

Just got mine as well.
