Application...Received or not?

I know it's a little late to be asking this, but did Cal ever send out an email to anyone saying that your application was received? I just realized its the only UC to which I applied school that didn't send me an email. Thanks.

Here’s another thread where this was asked.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-berkeley/1061842-applied-uc-berkeley-no-e-mail-confimration.html</a></p>

Seems the e-mails haven’t been sent yet.

When I applied back in 2006 (for Fall 2007) I didn’t get a confirmation email until January 17th. By then, they had uploaded their application system so the email thanked me for applying and gave me links.

Since I saved it, I’ll post it here – whether they’re still doing this way or not, I don’t know, but thought it would help:

"Thank you for applying to Cal for Fall 2007!

Our personalized, online applicant system, myBerkeleyApplication, is now available at http://admissions.berkeley.edu for you to check the status of your application. Although your application will be in review for the next few months, please log on as soon as possible to make sure that you can enter the system and that we have correct information on file for you. You will need your UC applicant ID number (provided when you submitted your Pathways application or sent to you after receipt of your paper form) and the e-mail address you provided in the application.

Our office will also be using this email address to communicate with you over the next few months. Please make sure that you check your email regularly and take any necessary steps to ensure that our address, berkeleyinfo@berkeley.edu, is not tagged as spam.

If you change your email address, or any of the contact information on your application, please go to the UC Application Center website at https://www.ucapplication.net/ucap</a> to update this information; or email Berkeley at emailupdate@berkeley.edu. Unfortunately, Berkeley is unable to change any other application information.

Please note that freshman admission decisions will be posted on myBerkeleyApplication on March 29, 2007"

oh ok. i was panicing for a minute. thanks so much!

I know this is random but, I havent received anything from UCSD or UCD either?
Has anyone?

I received one from both weeks ago.

I received it yesterday

I didn’t get a confirmation email like Beatchick, but I went to myBerkeleyApp anyway, I entered my UC application number, and I was able to create a password.

When I logged in myBerkeleyApp, it says Application is in review.

Try that.

Well, I’ll be damned. helpperman89’s suggestion worked. It doesn’t tell you much besides that your application is in review, and they’ll be posting admissions decisions at noon on March 24. I still haven’t gotten an email from Cal or UCLA, so this is pretty relieving.

Yeah man, I got a confirmation email from UCLA (about 2 weeks ago), but nothing from Cal though.

However, anyone knows how to check whether they got my SAT/ACT scores yet? … doesnt say anything on myBerkeleyApp

Thanks, helper. That worked for me as well.

Since SAT scores are shared among all the UCs you apply to, presumably you can check them at another UC. For me, UC Davis has all my scores displayed.

But I didn’t apply to any UC other than Cal and UCLA…

Will they inform you if you have ‘missing material’, like other universities?

Kinda worried here.

Have faith in Collegeboard! I’m pretty sure the scores are electronically to UCLA, meaning that it’s automated so there’s little chance that the UC system doesn’t have your score. After that, it’s just a matter of the system sending them to Berkeley. So as long as you also sent them to UCLA, stop worrying!
