<p>Should you apply to a college of an unviersity or should you apply to the university and then transfer? For example, should you apply to Upenn's Wharton school of buisness or should you apply to Upenn and then apply to Wharton school of buisness as an Upenn student?</p>

<p>I think Upenn is one of the few places that has you apply to a direct school within the university. Plenty of other places such as Stanford, Brown, Yale, etc just have you apply to the university undergrad program in general and then once you're there you can do whatever you want.</p>
<p>I could be wrong but I thought Case-Western was one where you applied to the college as well...</p>
<p>A lot of schools have you apply to the College its not just UPenn. Off the top of my head NYU & Cornell do it too</p>
