<p>I built some apps for google play store.
I am building a website for my Science Olympiad, USABO and USNCO clubs. (Both are pretty minor though)</p>

<p>Also part of UMTYMP mathematics program at University of Minnesota.</p>

<p>So given my stats, which school should I apply to?
CoE with EECS? Or L&S for CS?</p>

<p>If I apply to CoE for a major other than EECS, like ChemE or BioMed, will my chance of acceptance increase chem compared to CoE for EECS?</p>

<p>First two years I was an idiot, lol. The activities i did then were things like ‘Asian Club’ and ‘Anime Club’… Nothing major.</p>

<p>Bioengineering, like EECS and College of Engineering (CoE) undeclared, are supposedly among the most popular and selective majors. The less popular ones, relative to their capacity, may be others like nuclear, industrial, mechanical, or civil, although the Hout report that shows the differences in selectivity is a decade old (i.e. popularity and selectivity may have changed since then). But changing major within the CoE is not guaranteed, except for CoE undeclared students who may declare any CoE major.</p>

<p>Regarding EECS versus L&S CS, L&S is generally considered less selective at frosh admission, but you must get a 3.0 GPA in the prerequisites to enter the L&S CS major (whereas if you are admitted to EECS, you are in the major from the start). EECS has more lower division math, science, and EE requirements than L&S CS, and gives more options to take more EE and fewer CS courses for your upper division courses. Breadth requirements for the CoE and L&S are different.</p>

<p>Retaking the SAT is probably a waste of time – your 35 ACT is equivalent to 2330 SAT (or range 2290 to 2370), according to <a href=“http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/pdf/reference.pdf”>http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/pdf/reference.pdf&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
