Applying EA question

Hey,

I have a question about how EA works for QB. Say I apply to QB, rank only a couple of EA schools, and was chosen as a finalist:

Will they let me apply EA to my schools or will they only let me choose one?

Am i allowed to ED to a school not a partner college through my school AND apply EA to QB's partner colleges through QB if i am a finalist?

For example, if i am chosen Finalist for Notre Dame (EA). Can I apply EA to Notre Dame through questbridge, and apply ED to another school, not a partner college, through my high school?

Thanks

You are only allowed to apply early to Questbridge schools, and only through the scholarship program. You will pick which schools, then if you re selected AS A FINALIST, you will finalize your rankings of those schools. whichever school is highest on your list that you are admitted to (if any) will be the one you must enroll at. You must withdraw ALL OTHER applications This is the agreement you sign when you submit your application.
So using your example, you would not be able to apply at all to the other school. Just Notre Dame through Questbridge.

I thought that i would only have to withdraw all other applications if i was accepted applying ED. Isn’t EA nonbiding? This is what doesn’t make sense to me =/.

You are not technically applying EA/ED if you are ranking colleges for the College Match process. Even if the schools are non-binding in the Match process, you may not apply early elsewhere (except for rolling admissions + state schools, I think). If you opt out of the Match process, you may do as you please.

So

 1. If i am luckily accepted as a finalist for the college math process, i can still opt out?

Can i get accepted as a finalist, but not get matched with any of the colleges?

Also, if i become a finalist, does it increase my chances at the matched college, compared to if i applied to the college w/o QB?
