What do you guys think?
(Could you guys maybe give me a 1-10 chance? 1 being no chance, 10 being most likely in)

10
damn dude..u hav really good chance of getting in wherever u want..and being indian can help/hurt you...just depends on how you use it..i'm indian too (n from jersey =)) this grl at VCU said that b/c i'm indian they automatically assume that u're parents pressure you into being a doctor..u hafta prove to them that its wat you want..
Good Luck =)

8
I give you an 8 just becuz nobody is a 10 for MIT (or any school of like caliber), so that's a minus one...and another minus one for purely subjective reasons (you have some great ECs but depending on how you present yourself they can make you seem either incredibly interesting and well-rounded, or like someone that's just doing them because they think they need to)...In the end it all comes down to how you present yourself and the context of your achievements. Show the admissions committee that you're passionate about what you do and not just doing things because you think you have to.
If everything goes your way I'll look forward to seeing you at MIT!

lol, he got in :)

Being Indian could hurt you...I myself am Indian and was deferred then rejected last year. Hopefully I'll have better luck as a transfer this year. While stats alone won't get you in, you seem to be involved in a wide range of things and that's gonna help a lot. Good luck.

Streetlight was admitted EA. This was an old thread from October that somehow got resurrected a few days ago. :)

Hey, finally SOMEONE replied lol...a little late but thanks for your help

Sorry 'bout that, but hey congratulations! You plan on going to CPW??
