what do you think? feel free to critisize

hey guys sorry to be another person asking for input on stats etc...but I really want to apply to EA at MIT this fall and I wanted to know if I'm on right track and what I should do in order to keep up with everything.

*I go to the Academy of Allied Health and Science in NJ where 100% of graduates go to college and 98% go to 4 year and 2% go to 2 year. My school does not rank, but my guidance counselor told me I'm in top 5 percentile. My school is a public high school and I guess you can consider it a magnet school type. Anyway here's the info:

WRITING: 700 (MIT and most schools aren't looking at writing anyway right?)

november: might take last chance SAT for critical reading

by the way, any tips on essays etc?

You go to Allied Health?
I got to Manasquan. one of my friends goes to Allied health in your grade I guess.
It's one of the best schools in the country.
I think you have an excellent shot at all your schools. A 97 at that school is outstanding.

hey what's up willmington...lol allied is considered one of the best schools in the country? wow never knew that. anyway, who's your friend that goes to my school ... I knew practically everyone lol. anyway, we should talk sometime...what's your sn on aim

I was looking at some US high school ratings and it was top 50 I think. Probably top 2 or 3 in NJ.

is your gpa unweighted? if so, VERY impressive..

I would guess it would be because Allied Health is an entire honor's school so I suppose you could call it 104/100 weighted.

whoa...lol how do they weight? cuz yeah my whole school is honors and well this would be unweighted GPA I guess because I haven't done any adding points or anything...its exactly what appears on my report card and they don't mention any weighting system in my school.

how do you figure the 104?

well for honors you add 7 on to your grade. Since your entire school is honors just add 7. :)

how did u get the opportunity to take anatomy and physiology at a med school?

yeah...we also have to go to UMDNJ to pass an exam for college credits. I passed with 90 something for a/p 1 and II but I'll take it again in college. I just appreciate that I get to take a course like this in high school.

I also have a senior mentorship program in my school where I'll be doing a mentorship with a neurosurgeon. i might also have the opportunity to work in his office during the summer...not sure yet.

you will fail.

The end.

*jp jp, chill, you got good stats.

bump...please

anyone alumni have input on this? thanks
