Hey all,

Strongly considering applying to Jerome Fisher in the early round - I want to delve into a culmination of engineering/entrepreneurship/business and its obvious the program is one of, if not the best program for doing so.

Unfortunately, I don't have the stellar grades or national math/science accolades of many applicants (besides doing like... county science fair in 9th grade); I was wondering if anyone'd be willing to take a look at my qualifications (many of which have absolutely nothing to do with M&T) and chance me?
Disclaimer, your opinions will be received with much appreciation and a grain of salt ;)

Additionally, anyone have any suggestions for alternate programs in said fields at other colleges?

GPAs w/out senior year 1st semester (since it would be ED)

Unweighted: 3.86
Weighted 9-Present: 4.2
Weighted 10-Present: 4.38

ACT: 35 (36 R, 34 M, 36 W, 35 S)
SAT Subjects: 800 Math, 770 History, Chem & Physics in October (Wish me luck!)

Significant ECs (Leaving out trivial stuff like CM Piano, etc):
*Speech & Debate since freshman year. (3rd place, 8th place, 2nd place at State consecutively - lucky, I know. Got screwed over not qualifying to nationals though)
-Club V.P.

*NHS President at large public high school

*County Search and Rescue Team (3 years, 120 hours a year roughly)

*Competitive Latin Dance since freshman year, 1st Place Regionals last year

*Founded Hip-Hop Dance/Bboy Club at school freshman year, really weird for an AP kid I know, but I love it. We perform for school rallies and shows and stuff.

*Volunteer Videography for non-profit Youth Foster Homes (produce promotional clips for their galas and events and stuff; kids are awesome)

*Herd impoverished alpacas in Guatemala every summer

Totally joking about that last one

*And finally: I was lucky enough to be granted the opportunity to intern this past summer for a large angel investor forum. I am hoping to get the CEO/founder to write a rec letter for me about how brilliant and handsome I am, or something along those lines.
My essay about 'Why Jerome Fisher' will be premised upon why I want to learn a combination of M&T from witnessing presentations of Startup companies seeking seed funding.

Please please please keep the responses civil and constructive. If I have no chance, let me know and I will gladly take that into consideration as I look for less stratospheric programs with more than 50 applicants a year...

If you think I have a shot, much appreciated, and please indicate why so I can capitulate on that in my essays and whatnot.
