Chance me for M&T?

Hey guys! I've been a crawler on this forum for a while now, and I have to thank you guys for keeping me sane at times. I finally wanted to make a post to see where I stood on the admissions spectrum. I've been wanting to go to Jerome Fisher since 10th grade (when I found out about it haha) and UPenn since I was a kid. In addition to chancing me for ED, could some of you who are going through the program now or who have already graduated describe your experiences (as in did you find the program to be worth it, prospects for entrepreneurship/investment banking/hedge funds etc.)? Thanks in advance!

Basically, we wanted to give students an intuitive way to find educational resources pertaining what they are struggling with! Got noted in Congressional record by Congresman Sam Johnson whoo!!
bump bumpity bump

You look plenty qualified for M&T. With your only pseudo-negatives being a 3 in AP Spanish (which should effectively mean nothing to M&T) and being Asian Indian (unfortunately and unofficially at many universities it’s given somewhat of an “opposite of URM” consideration, but there’s nothing you can do about that).

You certainly seem to fit what M&T is looking for! But remember that they admit appx only 35-40 students per year out of many solid applicants.

You’ve got as good a shot as anyone, and probably a bit better with those EC’s, and you increased your odds by applying in the ED round. Good luck!

Thank you! I’m just hoping my focus on startups will set me apart enough to make up for being an asian male haha.

You honestly have as a good a chance as any applicant if not better. While it is a reach, you’ve literally done everything they could ask for and more. I think your startup focus will appeal to Wharton and technology focus to the engineering school. Best of luck man; you deserve to get in  Make sure those essays are tidy, you perform well in the interview, and remember that you’ve got fantastic chances at your secondary school admission too!

Dude you are unreal!!! I’m applying Jerome Fisher regular and after looking at yours I feel so demotivated. Honestly if you don’t get accepted I don’t know who would.

haha thanks guys! Good luck to all of you too!!

I applied to Jerome Fisher ED and you’re WAYYY better than me! I’m so sad now, but I hope I get into my second major choice :stuck_out_tongue: good luck man!
