Applying for Honors?

<p>Did everyone get asked to apply for Honors? How many of you are going to? It sounds pretty awesome I'm gonna do my essays tomorrow... except only 200 people get in every year. I don't know if I can handle any more rejection letters!!!</p>

<p>it is the thematic option honors program and it says its for the general education required classes</p>

<p>Im totally confused. What is this honors thing? Is it the same as like the Freshman Science Honors Program? If not, where are applications to be found, and what are the deadlines? Thanks...my brain is still a little shot with the shock of getting into USC</p>

<p>Thematic Option is an honors program for students that takes the place of General Education courses. Applications are sent to the top students accepted. If you didn't receive an application and want one, email the people at the office. Here are relevant links:</p>

<p>Thank you Nikara! Do you think there will be more applicants this year, making it more difficult to get accepted? And is there truth to the statement that they look heavily at SAT reading and writing scores? If the latter is true then I have a leg up lol.</p>
