Applying from CC to out of state university

<p>What are my chances if I'm applying from a CC in Hawaii as a transfer student to another university in our country? (Besides Ivy league schools) I'm trying to get off of this rock and see what else is out there, but I'm worried that my 3.4 GPA from a CC wont cut it. I'm aiming at spring admission, so I'll be able to increase it this semester, and hopefully not the other way around.</p>

<p>3.4 is strong but not extremely competitive depending on your major.
however, if you have some strong EC’s/essay you can balance it out</p>
