are there any need aware univ. for international students who have application deadline on or after 1st Feb?

Almost all American universities have need-aware admission policies for international students. Only 6 colleges are need-blind for internationals (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Dartmouth and Amherst). This means that, at almost all US colleges and universities, high need could adversely affect admission chances for an international student.

Are you really asking whether any schools with late application deadlines offer generous aid for international students? There may be a few. Find the colleges that show up on both of the following lists:

Dickinson College is the only one I see on both. However, some of the other schools with late deadlines may also have relatively good aid for internationals. Gettysburg’s average aid to internationals for 2012-13 was about $37K. Use the online Net Price Calculators to estimate your costs.

any college/univ. which provides Engineering major?
Please reply fast.

Gettysburg is the only one with a Feb 1 deadline and an Engineering major that offers financial aid to internationals, but in another thread you asked about universities for students with high financial need and I don’t know how good Gettysburg is with this. It’s a top LAC though.
Dickinson does have good financial aid for internationals but it doesn’t offer engineering. However it does have a good science program so you could study CS there.
Both are very selective.

TK21…your info is a bit incomplete. Only SIX schools are BOTH need blind for admissions AND meet full need for all accepted international students.

There are PLENTY of colleges that are need blind even for international students.

I’m curious why the OP is asking about need aware schools? A need aware school WILL consider his ability to pay when considering admissions. He says on other reads that he can only afford to pay $6000 or so, and he is looking for outside scholarships.

Applying to a need aware school is not going to help him in admissions.

I meant need blind
but this forum doesn’t allow to edit your posts after certain time
well this matter should now rest
I not going to apply to other colleges now
