applying international

does applying as an international student make admissions harder than if u apply from America even if you dont apply for financial need?

I don't think so. I'm an international applying this year, too. It would be a little advantage because you can contribute to the diversity of students. However, I am not sure if a different school system will be understood as well as the American one. I hope it will!

Almost all top colleges and universities have lower admission rates for internationals (even the ones that do not apply for fin aid) than for domestic students.
It seems that for international students the two most important admission factors are money and nationality. Indian and Chinese applicants (whether they live in the US or in Asia) seem to have a really hard time.
