<p>It depends on the school. If a school says it is “need-blind,” then your request for FA will have no bearing on your admission decision. If a school is NOT need-blind, then your ability to pay will be considered along with the rest of your application.</p>
<p>Colleges that say they are need-blind do not care about whether or not you need FA (or how much you might need). The thing is, most need-blind colleges don’t guarantee that they will give you an aid offer you can reasonably meet either.</p>
