Firstly, I hope this is the right section to post this. I posted this elsewhere, but received no replies, so hopefully this section will yield better luck.

Anyway, there's this volunteer intern position at a hospital that's near my college's campus for the fall/spring, and it would mean a whole lot if I could be a part of it. I have never had an internship before (I applied for one this summer, but didn't get it), and I want to do everything I can to get an experience like this. I am an incoming sophomore pursuing a chemical engineering degree with currently a 3.59 cumulative GPA (although my major GPA is higher). I'm not pre-med, but hospitals interest me a lot. Also, I am slightly worried that an internship is a bad idea to do during school, but I'm a little tired of not having any experience.

There are 5 questions, about a paragraph each, and I would just like one or two people to read over my responses. It would be much appreciated! I can read over something(s) of yours in return, if you would like.
