Applying to NYU and Poly

<p>Hi, all-
So I just submitted my application to NYU-I would also like to be considered for NYU Poly (which I checked on my NYU application.) Am I done? Or do I need to complete Poly's application supplement as well? I am applying as a physics major, if that makes any difference.</p>

<p>You can fill out the Poly application if you want. But you do not need to fill it out if your first choice if NYU. This means that if you are accepted to NYU, you will not be considered for Poly and that if you are deferred from NYU, you will be considered for Poly.

  • If you fill out the Poly application, you would get two decisions from both NYU and Poly.</p>

<p>Sorry! I wasn’t too clear. Just to clarify: I meant to say if you send in an app to Poly in addition to the NYU app, you also get a separate decision from Poly along with NYU. You DO NOT get decisions from both NYU and Poly if you send ONLY send an app to Poly.</p>
