Hi guys. Most of the deadlines for schools are March 1st or April 1st. I have already written the essays and filled out all the forms for the respective schools, but I want to retake my GMAT to score 100 points more to be competitive. My scheduled date is Feb 25th but since the deadline is March 1st, is that too late? should I reschedule? Thanks everyone

A lot of schools don’t require official scores to be submitted by the application deadline. They will either let you submit them when possible or upon an admission offer. So you might be OK if you self-report the unofficial scores given to you at the test center. However, this is generalizing, so you’ll have to check the websites of the individual schools to see if they need an official score report right away.

Yup, you’re probably ok. I took the November 30th test for the December 1st deadline. I’ve never heard of an instance where the “predicted score” differed at all from the actual score, schools put good faith in it. It takes about a week for the GMAC to process your stuff and get it out. The only thing you won’t know is your AWA score.

Hey Sctrojan359,

Are you planning to submit your applications for USC’s MAcc program? If so, I believe the deadline on their website is by 3/31 so that means you wouldn’t have to rush too much.
