<p>Does anyone know if it's harder to get in when applying after this deadline for transfer students? What does this "priority" deadline even mean anyway?</p>
<p>I'm currently a student at a top 25 university with over 30 credits and a 3.5 GPA who is applying to transfer into UM's School of Arts and Sciences, so I'm hoping I will get in! </p>

<p>as far as i know there done accepting students for the fall, most transfers and some freshman are just waiting for FA data as of now. Priority date usually means after that you have next to no chance and I believe its way past the date to apply for transfer or even freshman</p>
<p>My application has been in for a few weeks now and I received an email from UM saying that they were still accepting applications and that they hadn’t filled their transfer class yet (this was approx. 2 weeks ago). </p>
<p>I just wasn’t sure what the difference was between applying before and after that date. Thanks for the info though!</p>
