Hi, I'm a student from Hong Kong (mixed ethnicity, half white half asian) that got all A's in my GCSE's (no A*'s though), but did pretty bad in my A-level's for personal reasons (got an A, a B and a C). I completed one semester in Northeastern university with a GPA of 3.686 and am very confident that I'll do alot better this semester. I have lots of ECA's, practiced piano extensively and passed several exams and took part in competitions, was part of the cross country team in High school, got honors twice in high school and am part of several clubs now in university (mostly business and culturally related). What are my chances of getting into the Cornell College of arts and sciences? And will it matter WHEN I apply (like do they weigh whether you sent your application as soon as its opened?)

I'm also applying to NYU (CAS as well), what other schools should I consider (I really want to go to a school with a higher rank, esp in econ) please weigh my chances and advise me as best you can. Thank you very much!
