Are there stats, articles, or insights about applying again as a transfer student to a university that previously accepted or rejected an applicant? For instance, the application is judged differently by admissions officers (prioritized if accepted or tossed sooner if rejected). Additionally, are there stats about transfer acceptance rates for applicants who were previously accepted/rejected vs. applicants applying for the first time?
Transfer acceptance rates are readily available, but I’m not aware of a breakdown related to previous applicants. Conventional thought is that if previously rejected, one would be rejected again unless there is a very compelling improvement in the application.
If previously accepted to a school, that shows that at one point a student was deemed a good fit. However, the transfer applicant will need to show he/she is still a good fit in the application (GPA, etc)

This is evident. I’m seeking stats and facts, however. Since they’re not “readily available,” would it be answerable only by AOs or counselors?
