Applying to UCF 2018 Fall, what are the chances of getting now.

So, I’ve waited longer than I probably should’ve, which leads me to my question, how much harder is it to get accepted when applying later than most students? let’s just assume that I am the middle 50% of students. I am trying to get into the Fall semester, also would I have a better chance just applying to summer? I will be applying in a couple of days.

Go read the acceptance thread, many people have been deferred for several months now. If you want UCF and your stats are not stellar or your not instate top 10%, you should go for Summer. The deadline is March 1- you need to get it in now.

when I spoke to an admissions counselor they said that they accept 25% of applicants each round. If you did not make the round, then your application is moved to the next round. So you will be competing against all of the students who have applied so far, obviously. I would say just play it safe and apply for summer because I have seen people with 1350 SAT get deffered for fall and accepted for summer. You might want to be quick tho as the application deadline for summer is march 1st

I went from deferred ed to waitlisted yesterday . What are chances now? I applied for fall semester

Last year they offered around 4,500 the waitlist about 1880 accepted and 71 got in. It really depends on how many commit. This year’s class of kids is really big- it did not work in your favor.
