<p>Hey,
I have a quick question. How many of you here are applying to Urbana right now? I missed the deadline, but it says here: U</a> of I Admissions: Freshman Application</p>

<p>"If you have reason to apply late, you must download the Freshman Application (PDF), complete the form, and mail it to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions along with a written statement as to why you are applying past the deadline."</p>

<p>What do you think the chances are if I send my stuff and it reaches there in about 3 days? </p>

<p>Unless, you’ve just awakened from a coma, or have some other GOOD reason for missing a deadline, I’d say your chances are slim.</p>

<p>I agree. You better have a good reason for not being able to meet the deadline.</p>

<p>Yeah the school will be a reach but apply if your seriously considering the university.</p>

<p>I don’t know how likely you will get in since it’s past the deadline, hell even the decision date. The school is not in rolling admission, but still worth a try if you really want to go to UIUC and have stats so good that they want you.</p>

<p>UIUC takes applications after the deadline but the rule is those are considered only after all those who applied by the deadline have had their decisons made and then only considered if there are still openings (meaning they did not admit enough) in the program requested. In other words you have a chance only if they did not admit the number they wanted to admit when making offers to all those who applied on time and that seldom happens although you have some chance to be waitlisted.</p>
