My S is pondering applying to Purdue as undeclared student. He has interests in pursuing a STEM field, or CS. Nothing is set in stones though. My question is, if he applies for undecided, how hard is it for him to declare a major in engineering or CS during his first or second year? Are those highly restrictive?
