When applying for the FYE program for Purdue, does it make a difference if I choose a specific desired major or if I were to just choose undecided engineering? Basically, does what I put as a specific major play a part in the admissions process, or will they not even take it into consideration?
I don’t know what FYE is but all applicants to the College of Engineering apply jointly, regardless of intended engineering field choice.

Oh I see. From the info session I attended, the admissions person said it didn’t matter. The numbers tend to gravitated toward generally expected totals and it was not a source of concern. Plus, they know that many people switch around.
