Hello everyone! Like the title says, I am going to be starting my applications for college soon so I came to the place where I've heard all the best advice comes from haha.
List of schools in mind: Yale, Stanford, Cornell, Brown, other Ivy's, UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC. Again, any other suggestions would be fantastic.

Well, I think that's it for my information. This is my first post on this website, so I hope I did everything right. If I came off negatively in any way, I didn't mean to haha. If you have any questions about what I posted, feel free to ask. Oh and I don't know if this is important or not but I am a Korean male haha. Thank you for your time!

Oh yeah, I would assume my rank is important: Ranked 11 or 12 out of 678. I’m not exactly sure at the moment. Silly me.

I’m sorry if I’m doing something wrong, but I would like at least one chance before I give up on this thread hahaha. Someone chance me please!

You should get into at least one of your choices although its less likely if you’re asian (sorry broken system) since you did not mention your race. Your score is spot on, your ECs will probably not impress your reach schools but are almost a requirement in the competitive admissions process. You might want to add a couple safeties.
Yale- high reach
Stanford- high reach
Cornell-low reach
Brown- high reach
other Ivy’s UPenn- middleish reach, Harvard- High reach, Princeton- High reach, Dartmouth-middleish reach
UC Berkeley- match
UCLA- match
USC- match

Oh my goodness, THANK YOU. I was starting to think nobody would reply haha. But yes, that’s sort of what I was thinking too. Is a “middle-ish reach” school a good chance or a bad chance? Are there any top-ranked schools that would be good safeties for me?

Any safety recommendations?
