for the cylinder finding the volume
was there a 150pi and 180pi choice, or just 150pi?
i dont remember

yeah the rocket question

how did you find the answer to that one

For the rocket question you were supposed to break it up into triangles. You have your first 20 (or was it 30?) straight up. You then break the other two steps into triangles and use basic 30/60/45/90 trig to solve for the vertical leg, given the hypotenuses. The answer ended up being the longest one…I think it was the last choice?

is the rocket question the trajectory one??

yes, the rocket question was the last choice, E. you had the first 30 feet that went vertically, then you add the vertical length of that 30-60-90 triangle, then add the vertical length of the 45-45-90 triangle. so you had 30 + some root + some root

The produce dpt question was 170.
It gave you 4 numbers all under 150. The 4 number total was 580.

580+170=750.

750/5=150.

anyone remember what the second to last question was worded like? with its answer choices? i ran out of time on that q.

not so for the produce one…one of the numbers was 156 or something…159 is def the answer

There were two questions about that chart… one was about meat or something and the other was produce… maybe you guys are mixing it up because I am pretty sure it is 159 and they were asking for an average of 150…

I don’t know if I’m remembering the produce question correctly
but I remember getting 170 and thinking, well those other numbers are pretty low to average 150 so you need a high number. I’m pretty sure four numbers were given though…

Produce one was 159…100 percent sure.

We’ll see on the 15th.

the answer was 159
i just looked via the “entry” button on my calculator
it was one of the last things i plugged in

Does anyone remember the EXACT question to the produce thing? I don’t have any recollection of it.
Edit - Oh, it was the average one. I’m 100% sure I got it right, since averages are easy, but what were the numbers given and the goal desired?

A manager wants to meet a goal of avg 150 sales by the end of the “term”?. The final month’s data was corrupted. What must the month’s sales have been to meet the 150 goal?

Okay, and what were the 3 numbers given, and what average did he want?

They gave you 4 and he wanted an avg of 150 (including the X #).

which ended up to be 159…

The answer is 159. Stop trying.

You failed ACT Math.

Was 156 one of the choices? Because I think I remember taking the averages of the given numbers and 156 and getting at least 150.
