This is my fourth time taking the ACT:
English: Easy
Math: Moderate
Reading: Not too bad
Science: Hard (it was the hardest science section I've ever taken)

I put yes for the photographer question. Documented life in Memphis or something like that.

grand piano

it stated in passge that it was cabinatry

@k3, i put went (no change). is that right?

What did it say about cabinetry? I put yes for the photographer question because it showed the world around him (memphis)

do people think -1 in reading would make 36?

also, on the first reading passage (prose), what was the answer to the "smirk" question? what about the "lens cap" one?

has anyone taken a act and thought you did bad but ended up getting a high score?

I don't recall the smirk question. I think the lens cap had to do with something along the lines of eagerness and her wanting just jump into using the camera?

smirk one was right after the lens cap one. it was something like "Martha's smirk reveals..." i think it came down to profound relief or slight amusement.

I believe it was slight amusement, she laughed right after.

I put profound relief

i put smirk as slight amusement, because there was nothing to indicate that she was relieved.

and the science was hard. everything else was easy.

lens cap one, i put she was uncomfortable/uncapable with using a camera or like she still had trouble, somewhere along those lines.

Hm...I don't really seem to fit the general consensus.

English: A bit tougher than usual.
Math: Normal. A few challenges.
Reading: First passage was insane. The last three were easy. I remember a "Who was Diane" question on the first passage, and couldn't find that name anywhere >_>
Science: Here is where I differ. I actually thought science was easy....I had time to go back and check answers. shrugs

Overall, I thought it was a bit tougher than the Feb one, which was the first one I took and got a 29 composite without studying. I did a practice test for this one so hopefully I did better.

Will they adjust curves if more people miss on science?

was the lens cap one "ongoing insecurity"?

I think I put what spazattack did, actually. Something in regard to the fact that wanted to use the camera but couldn't. Don't remember specifically

Smirk = slight amusement.
Lens cap = still insecure/uncomfortable/whatever using the camera.

Was there even an answer about her eagerness to start use the camera?

I thought smirk was profound relief cuz martha says "i guess you'll be fine."

Lens cap is either ongoing insecurity or eagerness. I guessed on that one so I'm in no position to comment on which is right.

i put slight amusement and insecurity for those two questions
