OK, I've (sorta) figured out our visiting itinerary. It begins on Thursday, April 13, and goes like this:

Thursday: (starting from northern NJ) Bucknell
Friday: Goucher
Monday: U Richmond
Tuesday: Haverford
Wednesday: Swarthmore
Thursday: Muhlenberg
Friday: Connecticut College (Junior Visiting Day)

And back home, about 1 1/2 hours from New London

Is this nuts?

Anyone have any revisions/ideas? Also about what we should do over the Easter weekend, since we'll be in Baltimore and then down to Richmond? (Yes, I checked that the tours/info etc. are happening on Friday and Monday.)

Any thoughts of where we should stay near any of these schools?

If you can, stop by F&M in lancaster before friday. Great school great location strong programs in everything and seems to be similar to a lot of schools on your list.

If you're nuts with that schedule, then I'm insane. We're doing a spring break college visit trip, too, starting the same day as you, but we have more colleges! We're flying to DC from Florida, renting a car and then:
Thursday - American U
Friday - Mary Washington
Saturday - Washington & Lee
Easter Sunday - Monticello
Monday - UVA
Tuesday - Davidson
Wednesday - Wake Forest
Thursday - Elon
Friday - William & Mary in the morning, U of Richmond in the afternoon
Saturday - fly home and sleep ......

We had the same problem as you - figuring out what to do with Easter Sunday. Luckily we were able to schedule our visits so that we'd be in Charlottesville then. I checked the Monticello website to make sure it was open on Easter and it is, so that should be fun.

Sorry I can't recommend any hotels in the cities you're visiting, but I'd suggest going to each college's website, check the visitors page and see if they recommend any local hotels. If you tell the hotel that you're there to visit the college, they sometimes have a special (cheaper) rate, so it pays to ask.
